The user of the facility agrees to protect, indemnify, and hold free and harmless, Goose Creek CISD, its Board of Trustees, Officers, Employees, and Agents from and against any claims, demands, causes of action, or other litigation (including all costs thereof and Attorney's fees) of every kind and character on account of personal injuries, death, bodily injury or damage to property, of the public, Goose Creek CISD or the User herein, its or their Guest, Employees, Supervisors, Vendors, and Agents: (whether resulting from the performance of its obligations hereunder), or the quality or safety of the programs used and/or the equipment or property of the User herein, all of these without regard to a fault even if any indemnified injured party is negligent in whole or part.
By signature on this agreement, Leasor acknowledges and agrees that:
- Use of the facility requested will be restricted to individuals associated with their organization to maintain security.
- Using or possessing any weapon, alcohol, or tobacco products on any Goose Creek CISD property is prohibited.
- No use of fireworks or explosives on-premises.
- The group/organization assumes full responsibility for the conduct of any and all persons using the facility during rental.
- Use or possession or storage of any pesticide or herbicide on any Goose Creek CISD property is prohibited. Possession orImproper application of pesticides may result in forfeiture of current utilization and future use of school facilities.
- No Food or Drinks are allowed in any Goose Creek CISD Gymnasiums.
- Lessee agrees to abide by all Fees stated and referenced in Administrative Guidelines, including Late Request Fees.
- No motorized vehicles or trailers are allowed outside of the parking lot areas (this includes any grass areas).
- The group/organization shall use the facility only for the purpose/areas consistent with what is stated on the facilityrequest and what the intended use of the facility is for.
- Lessee agrees to abide by all Rules and Regulations in Administrative Guidelines: Building Rental-Rules and Regulations.Those who do not follow guidelines will be subject to removal from the event and suspension fromattending/hosting/renting future events in GCCISD
Deposit and Cancellation:
To reserve a facility, groups/organizations in that rent campus facilities on a long-term basis (three (3) months of the year) arerequired to pay a no refundable security deposit equal to one month’s estimated fees for rental and employee services uponconfirmation of facility availability.
Groups/organizations renting campus facilities must provide a minimum of 48 hours advance notice of cancellation. Failure toprovide adequate cancellation notice may result in the group/organization being billed for a minimum of two (2) hours foremployee service.
Payment of Fees for Rental and Employee Services:
Ten (10) business days prior to an event, the group/organization will be responsible for paying the estimated fees associated withthe facility rental and cost of the services as established in this exhibit. Possible charges include but are not limited to, custodial,field custodian, technology, police/security, and maintenance employee services. In addition, other services, such as equipmentrental fees will also be charged to the group/organization and be payable ten (10) business days prior to the event. The prepaidestimate of charges (and deposit, if applicable) will be applied toward the final charges for the event.
Immediately following the event, the Brightly/Schooldudes Department will issue a final invoice for the balance owed. Paymentwill be due immediately upon receipt. The balance owed must be paid in full prior to the next event in a series taking place.Failure to make payment will result in denial of future use.
